Trip update and Divine Appointments

We rode 275 miles today to Key West. The weather was good and HOT. We had some adventures on the road when we got onto the Florida Turnpike and it required a Sun Pass and we didn’t have one. Long story but we got it all straightened out.

We stopped or breakfast at an IHop at 10 AM and had a waiter named “Mo”. His wife had just passed away and he was working as a Denny’s Manager and waiting tables to pay for her bills. We prayed for him and shared a Gospel of John with him.

We crossed the 7 mile bridge where they filmed “True Lies”. We saw the part of the bridge where they landed the Harrier and the part of the bridge that they blew up with the missile. Pretty cool.

Pastor Chuck took us out to dinner and we had a server named Rashad. We asked how we could pray for him and he asked for prayer for the family of his 22 year old friend named Brian. He was walking along the sidewalk and tripped and fell, hitting his head. It killed him! We also got to share a Gospel with a young sailor from San Diego who was waiting in the restaurant with us before the meal.

We had a great time presenting part 1 of the MAD Live Event to a small group of people from the Eagles Rest Ministry. Part 2 is tomorrow night. We are blessed to be staying with a former Pastor and his wife for the time we are in Key West. Frank and Toni are great hosts!
